Apple sues HTC over phone patents |
News outlets today are reporting that Apple is suing HTC with over 20 patent infringments. The infringements are noted as being related to both software and hardware components. "We can sit by and watch competitors steal our patented inventions or we can do something about it," the statement quoted Apple CEO Steve Jobs as saying. "We think competition is healthy, but competitors should create their own original technology, not steal ours."
There is no official announcement from HTC representatives at this time.
