HTC phones to carry Playstation certification

It appears as though HTC will be the first non Sony device that will receive Playstation certification. Reports from British tech site, Pocket-Lint, reveal that an announcement will be made later this year. Playstation certification allows Playstation titles to be played through an Android based compatibility layer. So far this ability has only been available on a select group of Sony and Sony Ericsson devices. This certification would be a boon for HTC who is looking to differentiate  itself from its competitors. Samsung has largely been responsible for taking much of HTC's market share in the Android platform.
