HTC will launch fewer devices in 2012 |

Taiwanese manufacturer HTC's UK cheif, Phil Roberson has told Mobile Magazine that the company intends to release a smaller number of devices this year. He stated the following: "We (HTC) have to get back to focusing on what makes us great - amazing hardware and a great customer experience. We ended 2011 with far more products than we started out with. We tried to do to much. So 2012 is about giving our customers something special. We need to make sure we do not go so far down the line that we segment our products by luanching lots of different SKUS." In addition, HTC say they will not focus on tablets so attention can be on the device quality.
