Microsoft may be preparing new music service

Micosoft is rumored to be talking with major record companies in the discussion of creating a new music service. This new service would be able to bring music to Windows Phone and Xbox consoles. Zune has been the preferred music service for Windows Phone thus far. Spotify brings tunes to the Xbox console and desktop computers. Because of Zune's usage , deals with major record labels are already in place. Part of the rumors allege that Microsoft is trying to convince them to be a part of their new service and will supposedly launch later this year.
