New trademark hints at a possible Sony handset

A report shows that Sony has filed to trademark the name "Xperia Sola" at the U.S. Trademark and Patent office and OHIM, its European counterpart. The Xperia Ion was unveiled at the CES conference as well. A recently leaked international roadmap may point to some clues as to what this device may feature. However, no further information is known at this time. Registration of a trademark doesn't guarantee that a product with that name will appear. Though "Sola" name would fit into Sony's establishment of nonmenclature.
